Paradiene 40, Cold Adhesive, SFT Adhesive or Hot Asphalt Applied
Paradiene 40 FR are finish plies used in hybrid and multi-layer applications, and as a base flashing material where granule-surfaced flashing sheets are required. These high-performance modified bitumen finish plies have various application methods: Paradiene 40 FR can be applied using PA-311 Adhesive, approved Type IV Asphalt, or SFT Adhesive, while Paradiene 40 FR BW can be applied using PA-311 series Adhesive or PA-828 Flashing Cement.

Paradiene 40 FR
Consists of a fiberglass scrim/fiberglass mat composite impregnated and coated with high-quality SBS-modified bitumen, and surfaced with ceramic granules.
Paradiene 40 FR BW
Consists of a fiberglass scrim/fiberglass mat composite impregnated and coated with high-quality SBS-modified bitumen, and surfaced with highly reflective, white mineral granules.

Environmental Impact
Siplast Bright White cap plies are designed to reflect more sunlight and absorb less heat than a standard colored granule. Using the Energy Commission’s solar reflectance index calculator, Bright White granules achieve an initial SRI of 92.
