Solution
Siplast provided a high-performance roofing system that also aligned with helping to meet the city's sustainability goals:
- Two-ply protection with environmental impact
A Siplast SBS-modified bitumen system featuring a Paradiene® 20 base ply and Parafor® 30 finish ply was selected for its long-term performance and exceptional durability. - Supporting cleaner urban air
The cap sheet was surfaced with Eco-Activ® Noxite® granules, designed to help neutralize harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the air. The Noxite-surfaced membrane helps contribute to local air quality improvement by breaking down pollutants. - Minimized disruption for residents
The use of torch-grade materials avoided hot asphalt fumes, helping to reducing disruption to tenants during installation.
The Jubilee House reroof delivered lasting performance while also supporting Vancouver's broader environmental initiatives.
